We're so fixated on using standardized tests as the sole means of assessment that we've lost sight of what really matters: are students actually learning, or are they memorizing? Concept maps can help improve learning, and they allow students to add a level of creativity that doesn't exist in a typical test. Sadly, politicians hold the purse strings, and the only thing they seem to understand is standardized tests.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
